The HUI-World Methodology is a pedagogical framework designed to strengthen the teaching of Earth Science and STEM subjects in secondary education. Built around the principles of sustainability, digital transformation, and inclusive learning, it provides teachers with innovative tools and practical strategies to support interdisciplinary learning, encourage critical thinking, and increase student engagement.
Developed in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the methodology promotes a modern approach to education that connects scientific knowledge with real-world challenges. By combining direct teaching, inquiry-based learning, and peer communication, it enables educators to address diverse learning needs while creating more dynamic and participatory classroom experiences.
At the heart of the HUI-World Methodology is the idea that students learn best when they actively explore complex environmental and societal issues. Through collaborative activities and cross-curricular perspectives, the project encourages
teachers to guide students in analysing global challenges and understanding their role in a rapidly changing world.
By fostering digital literacy, civic responsibility, and interdisciplinary teaching, the HUI-World Methodology acts as both a practical educational resource and a driver of pedagogical innovation. It aims to support teachers across Europe and beyond in preparing the next generation of informed, responsible, and engaged citizens.
